  • During your first physical therapy session you can expect the most thorough evaluation you’ve ever experienced. Your therapist will take about 60-90 mins during the session to truly listen to your story, understand your goals, and discuss the challenges you’re facing.

    The session will include a detailed assessment of your movement, strength, mobility, and biomechanics to pinpoint the root cause of your issues—not just the symptoms. Together, you and your therapist will develop a personalized plan to address your concerns, helping you feel confident about your path to recovery and performance.

  • At YU Performance, we prioritize quality over quantity, which is why we don’t work within the constraints of insurance-based models.

    We believe in treating the whole person, not just a single body part, allowing us to provide comprehensive, personalized care that truly addresses the root cause of your concerns and supports your long-term recovery and performance goals.

  • Evaluations take a thorough 60 - 90 mins. All other treatment sessions are 1:1 based for 60 mins with your therapist.

  • We kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice or any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to accommodate other clients. Appointments changed within less than 24 hours may incur a charge.

  • We do not work with insurance companies at YU Performance, but we do take payments such as HSA or FSA and we do provide superbills for people with out-of-network benefits, so that you can submit your superbills to the insurance company for reimbursement purposes.

  • YU Performance prioritizes a movement based approach to therapy. With that being said, we suggest you wear something comfortable that you can move well in.
